How Cheersheet handles your data: the mix is decoded, gridded and played in your browser, and nothing you load or type is ever sent to us.
What stays on your device
The mix you choose is read from your device by your browser, decoded in the page, and never sent anywhere. The waveform, the beat grid, the count sheet, the practice player and the practice track are all worked out in the page. There is no server side to this site: it is a set of static files. Your mix, your count sheet and every athlete name stay in this browser. Nothing is uploaded, and no music ships with the site.
Routines (the grid, sections, cues, formations and athlete names) are written to your browser's own local storage, under keys beginning with cheersheet.. If your browser allows it, a copy of the mix is kept in the browser's own database (IndexedDB) so you do not have to choose the file again next time; you can turn that off on the sheet page, and it is removed when you delete the routine. All of this belongs to one browser on one device: it does not follow you to a phone, it is not backed up anywhere, and nobody else can read it. You can save a routine as a project file and open it on another browser. Clearing site data for this site removes it permanently and immediately.
Because there is no account, there is also nothing to delete on our side and no way for us to restore anything you clear. That trade is deliberate. A count sheet tool does not need to know who you are, and your team's mix is licensed to your team, not to us.
The voice
Spoken counts use your browser's own speech engine. Most voices run on your device. Some browsers also offer online voices, and if one of those is chosen your browser sends the words it speaks (numbers from one to eight) to the browser maker's speech service. Cheersheet picks an on device voice whenever one exists. The click count never uses speech at all.
No accounts
There is no sign up, no sign in, no email capture and no password to lose. Every free part of this site works without identifying yourself in any way.
What is collected
No account, no sign in, no advertising identifiers, and no analytics of what you write. Standard web server logs kept by the static host may record the request for a page, its time, and a network address, in the ordinary way that any web server records a request.
Payments
If a paid plan is ever offered and you buy it, the payment is handled by RevenueCat and Stripe, and an anonymous purchase id is kept in this browser so Cheersheet recognises your plan. Cheersheet never sees your card.
Cookies
Cheersheet sets no cookies of its own, and it carries no advertising or cross site tracking scripts.
Children
The site is written for coaches and choreographers. Athletes may see a printed sheet or a projected count, but the tool is not directed at children under 13 and asks for no personal information from anyone. Athlete names typed into a routine never leave the browser.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the change will appear on this page. There is no mailing list to notify, because there is no mailing list.

Questions about privacy, or a request about your data, go to socialreminderinfo@gmail.com. Since nothing is stored on a server, most such requests are answered by telling you which local storage keys to clear. The count sheet editor and the guides work the same whether or not you ever write in.
